I am Muhammad Khan, Father: Lt. Col. Dr. Muniruzzaman Khan,
Education: Tamil / Dauraye Hadith (MA Islamic Studies), Ph.D. - Tafsirul Quranil Kareem,

Occupation: Shaikhul Hadith & Vice Principal, Jamia Babussalam (2000-2017); Founder & Principal, Wisdom Academy (established in 2014)

Wisdom Academy: A preaching Tabligh Jamaat came from England in 2012, and there I met a fellow of the congregation, named Ashfaqur Rahman, the Principal of “Alhikmah Islamic School” in UK, and also the President of “Islamic School Association of UK”.

I went to bring that congregation from Gulshan Azad Masjid to our DOHS Baridhara mosque. While the rest of the companions were getting ready, I was standing with him and getting acquainted, and was also exchanging news.

After hearing about my study and family background, he told me, “Maulana Sahab! Something needs to be done for the next generation, because now the education system has undoubtedly split into two divisions, 1. Religious education, culture and environment (centered on the Madrasas), 2. General education (centered on schools, colleges, etc.).

Due to lack of religious environment, students have moved away from Islamic values and thoughts. In this circumstance, it is an utmost necessity to come forward and create a platform to combine these two forms of education, through which students of General education will be taught in an Islamic environment and culture. As a consequence, Islamic values and thoughts will be set in their hearts and they will be transformed into truly practicing Muslim as well as devoted professionals like doctors, engineers ... etc.”

We spent quality time together in that voyage of him. MashaAllah, his words successfully created a sense of responsibility and passion in me. And then I started walking on my desired pathway ………….

I had a strong wish, but lacked in experienced, so I went to different organizations, spent quality time there and discussed various important issues like educational concepts, curriculum, syllabus etc. with them

By the grace of Almighty, realizing the need of time, an organization liked my thoughts, and eventually I was provided with the opportunity of improving their institution. I worked with them for six months without any salary (even with own expenditure), finally an infrastructure of the organization was created successfully.

Later I took the initiative to do something on my own. Alhamdulillah Wisdom Academy favourably started its journey on 1st May in 2014 with a group of eleven people including me, but one by one they all left. By the grace of Allah (SWT), and with all of your cooperation and prayers, Wisdom Academy is growing gradually.

My heartiest pray to the Almighty that He may accept all of Wisdom’s teachers, students, parents, attendants, well wishers and everyone else; and grant us the abilities to work with sincerity. Ameen.
